Sacred Valley Tour of the Incas has five places to visit. Chinchero, Moray, Salt Mines, Ollantaytambo, Pisac. If you like you can visit the five sites in one full day. This itinerary gives you the opportunity to visit all the most significant places of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where you can appreciate the magnificent work that the Incas made in stone. You will also have the opportunity to interact with the local people and enjoy the landscapes mountainous areas that surround the sacred valley, with its glaciers, rivers and the friendly people that live in the ancestral valley. For example you will make a stop at the Chinchero to visit the Inca ruins, a colonial temple, and a local family to learn about Andean textiles, then you will go to Moray to visit the circular terraces, then visit the largest archaeological center of the sacred valley which is Ollantaytambo then we go to Pisac and then return to Cusco.
DAY 01: CUSCO – CHINCHERO – MORAY – SALINERAS – OLLANTAYTAMBO – PISAC – CUSCO
The meeting point to start the tour of the sacred valley is at 7:00 am at the main office located one block from the main square of Cusco. Portal nuevo 270 Plaza Regocijo. Once everyone are in the car we ride for about 45 minutes to Chinchero town. To visit an Inca temple and a colonial temple you will also have time to visit a local family to learn about Andean textile handmade. After visiting chinchero you will go to Moray which are the circular terraces, where the guide will explain and you will have free time to explore the place and taking pictures, then you go to the village of Maras to visit the salt mines to appreciate the salt that the locals use to sell in the local markets. Then you will go to Urubamba town where you will have a delicious buffet lunch in the restaurant that you eat as much as you can. After lunch you will head towards Ollantaytambo which is the largest archeological site of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, after visiting Ollantaytambo you will go to the last place to visit which is Pisa, then return to Cusco, around 6:30 pm.
- The time that you will spend in each archaeological site is from 1 to 1.5 hours
- The car will take you from one place to the other place, you will walk only once you are inside the archaeological site
- If you like we can drop you off in Ollantaytambo around 3:00 pm
- To visit the sacred valley, you need to acquire the TOURIST TICKET more information in the pricing section

Our prices for the Sacred Valley of the Incas are reasonable and are in line with the prices that are handled in the city of Cusco. If you book this tour online or directly at our office in Cusco, the price does not vary, we always keep the same price and the quality of the service we provide will always be the best. In the prices is not included the TOURIST TICKET to visit the sacred valley also the entrance for SALINERAS DE MARAS (salt mines) is not included which is 10 soles charged by the community.
IMPORTANT: About the TOURIST TICKET to visit the sacred valley
To visit the archaeological sites of the sacred valley you have to acquire the tourist ticket you can buy once you are on the tour at the first place you visit but also you can buy in Cusco at the municipality but also we can buy for you.
GENERAL TOURIST TICKET (BTG) = 130 SOLES, This ticket works to visit 16 tourist places in the Cusco region and is valid for 10 days, the places that can be visit with this ticket are the following.

Booking online: If you like to book the Sacred Valley tour online, we request a deposit of 20 dollars per person and the remaining balance you can pay once you arrive in Cusco at our office if you are not able to come to our office you can pay to the tour guide once you are on the tour also is possible to pay the full amount online.
Booking at the office: If you like you can come to our office in Cusco to book the Sacred Valley tour one of our salesperson will give all the details of the tour and taking your reservations, this tour you can book even a day before.
- Our guides are English speaking who will help you to reach the Laguna Humantay and will always be aware of those who suffer a bit to arrive as well as they carry an oxygen bottle and first aid kit for any emergencies.
- Lunch is buffet style, on the table you will have different options, including dishes prepared with vegetables, potatoes, salads, meat, pasta, stews which you can eat and combine as as you wish, there is also vegetarian options
